THE ROLE The primary purpose of the Warehouse Officer is to goods receipt materials and liaise with vendors. Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, successful candidates will display initiative and demonstrated ability to work autonomously whilst contributing to wider teams objectives. A genuine interest in providing customer service excellence is critical to this role. Qube is committed to safety and quality within the workplace and successful applicants would be expected to have the same level of focus across their areas of responsibility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Checking and signing consignment notes
Loading and unloading freight, including loading of packages into offshore containers for sea freight
Stocktaking, stock picking and processing of goods
Use of staging and tracking tool in SAP
Packing materials for transport
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Advanced experience using SAP
High risk Forklift Licence
Demonstrated knowledge of warehousing operations
with inventory management processes and their applications
Excellent time management skills
Elevated written and oral communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
DESIRABLE
Certificate III qualifications in warehousing operations or the ability to achieve
Knowledge and experience of standards and legislation for dangerous goods handling and storage
Demonstrated experience completing IMDG documentation
Demonstrated experience handling dangerous goods
Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power point
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
IATA
Current First Aid certificate
